Enrichment Activities

Extended enrichment opportunities are offered through clubs and programs in each of its schools. Please check with your school for the enrichment programming available for your student. Some offerings include:  

:  Encourages students to develop a vision for the future by engaging them in creative problem solving through critical and creative thinking.

:  Highly-motivated, high achieving high school students face off in an academic quiz fest.

  Participants build a robot and compete in friendly, robotics events. Using LEGO bricks and other elements such as sensors, motors and gears, teams gain hands-on experience in engineering and computer programming principles as they construct and program their unique robot inventions.

:  Stimulates enthusiasm and a love for mathematics while introducing important mathematical concepts. It teaches major strategies for problem solving developing flexibility in solving problems. It strengthens mathematical intuition and fosters mathematical creativity and ingenuity. 

:  Math Counts is a national competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement through grassroots involvement in every U.S. state and territory.

:  Students improve their spelling, increase their vocabularies, learn concepts, and develop correct English usage that will help them all their lives.

:  Provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Kids apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics and present them at local, state and world competitions. 

:  An international non-profit organization devoted to improving the quality of science education, increasing student interest in science and providing recognition for outstanding achievement in science education by both students and teachers. These goals are accomplished through classroom activities, research, training workshops and the encouragement of intramural, district, regional, state and national tournaments.
