Listening sessions are opportunities for members of the public, including staff, families, students, and community members, to provide feedback on the scenarios that the 澳门六合彩 Facilities Planning Steering Committee is developing.

The Facilities Planning Steering Committee presented possible options at the March 19 澳门六合彩 Board of Education meeting. After gathering feedback from listening sessions, the committee presented revised scenarios as possible options at the board's May 14 meeting. A questionnaire to gather community feedback about the revised scenarios was open May 10-19.

During a special meeting on May 20, 澳门六合彩 Board of Education voted unanimously to end the current Long Range Planning process. There will be no school closures or consolidation for the 2025-26 school year.

How will the committee ensure diverse voices are heard in the process??

Engaging people we support from marginalized populations

  • The outside facilitator, CSU’s Institute for the Built Environment, is collaborating with 澳门六合彩’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team to determine how best to include these voices in an authentic and inclusive way.
  • A representative from the Integrated Services Department, specifically supporting the Transitions Pathways programs, has been selected to serve on the steering committee.
  • Additionally, staff from 澳门六合彩’s Language, Culture, and Equity and Integrated Services departments will serve as resources to the committee in its meetings.

Engaging our students

  • Student voice is critical in this work and the committee will work with the facilitators to create opportunities for students to weigh in on possible changes
